EARL ON EARTH is the multifaceted creative project that singer songwriter and adventurer Nate Earl Chung uses to fuse his passions of making indie rock music, exploring in the mountains, and connecting with people. His live set, whether performed solo or with a band, is consistently delivered with an energy and authenticity that leaves audiences wanting more. Beyond his songwriting, his storytelling makes his set stand out. His sound is influenced by 90s rock and modern indie/folk rock. He’s comfortable performing in any setting, from music venues to breweries to backyards to public spaces. His sets are always curated to fit the vibe of the venue, and they can range in length between 30 minutes and three hours, depending on the venue’s expectation.

BIOGRAPHY I was born and raised in northern NJ but spent countless weekends in the Adirondack mountains with my family, where I fell in love with the outdoors. I went to college in Worcester, MA and lived in Cambridge, MA for the past five years, working as a management consultant while pursuing music on the side. I spent this past winter living in my camper van, traveling around the western U.S. performing and skiing at any opportunity. Now I live between Salt Lake City and Seattle and work as a musician, model, and mountain guide.

“Hey! I was at The Point the other night. Just wanted to say that it’s really one of the best live music experiences I’ve seen in years. Loved it :) Now going through your EP and love everything I’m listening to!”

The review above from Mael, a patron at The Point in Boston, Massachusetts, who emailed me this feedback

“I want to second [the above review]! My friends and I were at Nash Bar the other night and we all thought you were amazing! I’ve been listening to your music on Spotify all day. Any gigs to play your original music around Boston soon? We’d love to hear you play some of your original songs.”

The review above from Liv, a patron at Nash Bar in Boston, Massachusetts. Liv’s review was sent to me as a DM in response to my posting a screenshot of the email that Mael sent to me on an Instagram story.
